Greehill is a smart city solution that supports one of the most important elements of urban life: trees and their care. It uses artificial intelligence to create an inventory of all trees, their condition, type and dimensions, thus helping to maintain and further develop green spaces.

For a company such as Greehill, which, at the heart of its value proposition, is building a service based on a technology solution, it is essential to use adequate internal systems. With the evolution of technology and user demands, there is a constant need for new developments, and Digital Thinkers is at Greehill's service to help deliver these developments. Our task is to further develop Greehill's internal spatial geometry systems, which help to process the large amount of incoming data.
Problem
In terms of internal systems, we had to develop and repair an already existing tool, whose code base's adoption, disentanglament and further development caused the team a lot of headache.
Solution
The partly rewritten and partly enhanced software has improved the internal efficiency, greatly assisting the work of Greehill's operational staff.
By rewriting some components and enhancing others, we were able to make a significant contribution to speeding up Greehill's internal processes which paved the way for further joint developments between the two companies.
